Are you now paying a significant amount of spousal or alimony payments to a former spouse
If so you need to check your divorce decree for a "NO COHABITATION" clause stipulation. The clause usually reads something to the effect that if your former spouse resides with another, they are no longer entitled to receive spousal support or alimony from you.
Of course the court will not entertain hear say evidence. Here say evidence means the word of someone else that your former spouse is living with another. You need a private investigator to conduct a surveillance. The surveillance will establish weather or not the "NO COHABITATION" clause in your divorce decree has indeed been violated.
At the conclusion of the surveillance, the investigator will file a written report and burn the pictures taken during the surveillance onto a DVD. This evidence is then submitted to the court. The court will then review the evidence. After the evidence has been reviewed, the court will issue a decree and that will effectively put a stop to your former spouses support payments.
